Withdrawal Statuses and Timeouts

Understand the Preparing, Offer Sent, Completed, and Failed statuses.

  • Preparing: Appropriate bot and real asset reservation being made.
  • Offer sent: Steam offer created and user action expected.
  • Verified: Steam result and delivery status checked.
  • Completed: The offer is accepted and the asset submission is confirmed.
  • Failed: No offer created, rejected or expired.

If the Offer Expires

When an unaccepted offer expires, the reservation is released safely. If the skin does not appear immediately, it becomes available again after bot-inventory verification is complete.

Intervention After a Completed Withdrawal

For eligible withdrawals covered by Trade Protection, the operations team may use Steam’s permitted trade-reversal mechanism during the protection period for security reasons or at the user’s request. The action is retained in the audit history.
